The Honda CRF125F is an off-road fun bike powered by an easy-to-handle air-cooled 4-stroke engine, loved by a wide range of riders from beginners to experienced riders practicing. Its key features include a standard electric starter and fuel injection (electronic fuel injection system), making it excellent in terms of starting ease and maintenance.

The compact body, slightly smaller than the full-size model, offers good ground reach and maneuverability, making it highly popular worldwide as an entry-level bike for improving skills on closed courses and easily enjoying the fun of off-road riding.

Satoshi-san, featured here, chose the CRF125F to practice on a private course he developed himself. He calls his beloved bike "125 Darapla-go" and pursues his preferred style by changing the exterior to black and applying original graphics. His dedication to practicing with customizations for adults to fully enjoy off-roading is impressive.

■Reason for Purchase/Usage/Comparison Models

As an off-road bike beginner, I was torn between the TTR125LWE and the CRF125F, but I chose the fuel-injected model for its easy starting. I ride on a private course that I cleared myself.

■Strengths

I'm a YAMAHA fan, so I wanted to get rid of the HONDA color. I changed the exterior to black and applied "Darapla" original graphics. It's perfect for practice because it can chug along at low speeds.

■Weaknesses

I've made adult customizations, so most of my dissatisfactions have been resolved. If I had to pick one, it would be the rear drum brake.

■Advice for Future Buyers

If a woman or child weighing around 50kg is riding, the stock model might be fine. However, if an adult is riding, customization is necessary. The fuel tank capacity is small, but the fuel efficiency is surprisingly good, which is helpful.

■Future Customization Plans

The front and rear rims are still steel, so I'd like to switch to aluminum rims if possible (for increased strength and weight reduction).
