SHOEI has announced the "Z-9," the successor to the "Z-8," and a replica graphic model has already been released. This is the "DIGGIA ECHO," a replica model of MotoGP rider Fabio Di Giannantonio. It will be released in September 2026 and priced at 88,000 yen.

Z-9's Core Performance: Pursuing Aerodynamics and Comfort

SHOEI's "Z" series has been supported across a wide range of scenes, including sport touring, with its concept of being lightweight and compact. The latest model, the Z-9, inherits these characteristics while further enhancing aerodynamic performance, improving comfort and convenience during riding. The exterior has also been refreshed with a new design for the air intake, which integrates the SHOEI logo, and lower air intakes positioned on both sides.

The shell structure uses AIM+, a composite laminate of tough fiberglass and organically shaped organic fibers. By adding high-performance organic fibers with excellent elasticity, the helmet achieves a lightweight yet rigid and elastic shell. This unique new model is perfect for riders with a sporty inclination who also want to use it for touring and street riding!

The newly released SHOEI "Z-9" is the new sport full-face helmet that replaces the previous Z-8.

The new shell features a redesigned intake structure, achieving a 190% increase in air intake volume.

Aerodynamic performance has also been improved, significantly reducing lift and drag at high speeds.
