Inheriting the well-established 636cc inline four-cylinder engine and advanced electronic controls, the models are scheduled for sequential introduction in the US market starting summer 2026. Prices start at $11,599 (approximately 1.83 million yen).

Advanced Electronic Controls and Suspension Make This Middleweight SS Versatile in All Scenarios

The 2027 model "Ninja ZX-6R" is a supersport model that generously incorporates technology fed back from top-tier racing activities. At its heart is a 636cc liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder engine that delivers excellent performance across the entire rev range. It is also equipped with an assist and slipper clutch to facilitate smooth downshifts.

The electronic control systems that support the rider are also comprehensive. They include the Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS), Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC) with three selectable modes, Kawasaki Intelligent Anti-lock Brake System (KIBS), Power Modes, and Integrated Riding Modes that manage these systems collectively. The 4.3-inch TFT color LCD meter is compatible with the smartphone integration app "RIDEOLOGY THE APP MOTORCYCLE," enhancing convenience.

For the suspension, it features Showa's SFF-BP and fully adjustable Showa rear shock absorbers. This combination achieves a high level of balance between performance during aggressive riding on the circuit and a comfortable ride in urban environments. The front is equipped with 310mm dual disc brakes, and the tires are Pirelli Diablo Rosso 4, ensuring high braking power and grip.
