In this project, the editorial department picks up and introduces one interesting bike from the "My Bike" posts on the Webike community. This time, we are featuring the HONDA "CL250", owned by "Lucky Shimada".
CL250 (250cc) Owner: Lucky Shimada
Honda's CL250 is a scrambler-style light motorcycle model that debuted in 2023. Inheriting the name of the "CL" series that gained popularity from the 1960s to the 1970s, it has been reconstructed with modern technology and design.
It is based on the popular cruiser model, the Rebel 250, but by adopting a dedicated frame, suspension, and an up-type muffler, it achieves an upright position that allows you to enjoy a wide range of situations from on-road to flat dirt. It features an easy-to-handle liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine and simple, tough styling, and has gained support from many riders for everything from daily city riding to touring, and even as a base for customization.
Lucky Shimada switched to this CL250 because his previous FTR223 had reached its limit. The comment that he rides it with a "modern FTR-like feel" conveys the appeal of the CL250 as a light and easy-to-handle street bike. He also seems to highly value its modern usability, such as the fact that it comes equipped with LED lighting from the start.

■ Purchase motivation, usage, and comparison models
I switched to this because my FTR223 reached its limit. I'm riding it with a modern FTR-like feel! It has LEDs and electronic ignition from the start, and I feel it's an easy-to-ride bike!
■ Pros
Everyone has different tastes in bikes, but my preference is the CL250! I think the fact that there is no vehicle inspection is huge.
■ Cons
You can customize it however you like, so if you tailor it to your own preferences, you won't have any complaints.
■ Advice for those who are going to buy one
Don't forget that it's a 250cc!
■ Future custom plans
I want to paint it in tricolor!
