Here is a "HONDA FTR223" custom by Webike community user "ZEN-chan". The bike originally came with a vibrant blue stock tank in a color known as Candy Tahitian Blue. However, the owner removed it and purchased a well-preserved replacement from an auction site. Handling everything from surface preparation to clear coating himself, he used two cans of silver base coat and 3.5 cans of candy red top coat to achieve the perfect shade. The result is a stunning candy red tank that he takes great pride in.

Another part he’s especially fond of is the WirusWin Drag Bison Sport-Type Exhaust. Made entirely of stainless steel with a buffed finish, its 100mm silencer was carefully designed by the manufacturer to complement the bike’s proportions, ensuring it is neither too big nor too small. The unique three-dimensional pipe routing is another standout feature, with the exhaust first extending outward, then sweeping to the left side of the bike before angling diagonally out from underneath. This distinctive layout sets it apart, making it one of the owner’s favorite modifications.

For the tail light, he couldn’t find an FTR-compatible option that suited his taste, so he opted for a KITACO LED Tail Lamp & Reflector (Super Slim Universal Type). To mount it, he first prototyped a bracket using a 1mm aluminum plate, fine-tuning the dimensions and angles in two areas before fabricating the final version in stainless steel.

Adding a subtle vintage shine to the bike are the stainless steel Hurricane Mini Speedometer Kit and aluminum headlight brackets, both personal favorites of the owner. The NitroHeads Tuck and Roll Dividing Seat enhances the bike’s retro appeal even further. Meanwhile, a custom aluminum swingarm, extended 100mm over stock, along with a LUKE Skatune Kit, gives the bike a sleeker, more open look, perfectly tailored to the owner’s vision.
