Kawasaki Motors Philippines announced a 14.8% year-on-year growth in the Philippine domestic tricycle segment for 2025, achieving a market share of 61.5%. This growth surpasses the overall growth rate of the local tricycle market, further solidifying its position as a reliable and practical motorcycle for daily life and utility in the Philippines.
Furthermore, the company achieved a strong performance in total motorcycle sales for 2025, with a year-on-year increase of 15.7%. This growth rate not only exceeds the industry average but also marks the highest growth among major Japanese motorcycle brands operating in the country. The overwhelming share in the tricycle segment is supported by the practical models "Barako 175" and the "CT" series. These models are recognized for their excellent fuel efficiency and high reliability, making them suitable for daily commercial operations and widely acknowledged as essential means of transportation supporting people's livelihoods in rural and semi-urban areas.

In addition to the strong performance in the practical vehicle segment, the company is also maintaining a healthy sales pace in the leisure motorcycle sector, with growing interest in premium and large-displacement models. To sustain this momentum, Kawasaki Motors Philippines plans to further expand its leisure motorcycle lineup in February 2026.
The newly introduced models are said to include new vehicles that garnered attention at major international motor shows such as the Japan Mobility Show in 2025 and EICMA in Milan, Italy.
Leisure bikes also have their own active segments. Pictured is the Vulcan 1700 Vaquero. With a vibrant market, many new models are planned for future release.
