Red Bull and Honda HRC have announced their intention to revive their partnership in MotoGP starting from the 2027 season. The Red Bull colors will once again adorn Honda HRC's factory machines and riders.
Re-alliance for New Regulations in 2027
Red Bull Japan Co., Ltd. has announced that Red Bull is set to become a partner of Honda HRC's MotoGP factory program starting from the 2027 season. This renewed alliance marks the revival of a partnership forged through a shared passion for motorcycle racing and a commitment to compete at the highest level without compromise. From 2027, the Red Bull colors are expected to be featured once again on Honda HRC's factory machines and riders.
Red Bull and Honda were partners in MotoGP from 2015 to 2023. They competed alongside MotoGP legends such as Marc Marquez, Dani Pedrosa, and Jorge Lorenzo, securing four MotoGP World Championship titles. The partnership recorded 45 wins and 93 podium finishes, achieving significant success over nearly a decade, and this relationship will now continue in a new form.
The two entities are joining forces again with a shared vision to push the boundaries of performance, inspire the next generation of riders, and shape the future of MotoGP together. To commemorate the revival of their partnership, a campaign titled 'The Mechanic and the Calligrapher,' filmed in Tokyo, will be launched. It merges two expressions symbolizing Japanese craftsmanship: the precision of motorcycle engineering and the artistry of calligraphy.
The video features an RC213V in Red Bull colors from 2023. It reflects on moments from their successful past partnership while looking ahead to the new chapter beginning in 2027. This campaign is positioned as a celebration of the renewed start for two brands united by a common passion for performance, heralding the dawn of the next chapter in MotoGP.
