Art Project by 7 Designers and the Award-Winning Work "Potentia"
The "Ducati Artwork Project" was carried out for designers belonging to Ducati's design division, "Ducati Centro Stile." This project is an attempt for designers who create motorcycle designs daily to express the essence of the brand in the free realm of art, away from the constraints of vehicle development.
Seven designers participated in the project, each reinterpreting Ducati's design philosophy through different approaches, including digital art, graphic expression, and three-dimensional works. The aim is to visualize the emotions behind the brand's iconic forms and details by deconstructing them.
The winning work selected for this project is "Potentia" by Elisa G. This piece is inspired by the front design of the new "Panigale V4" and reconstructs the contradictory elements of power and lightness into a single form.
Furthermore, Elisa G also focused on the "916," a historic design icon of Ducati. Through these two motorcycles, supported across generations, she expresses the connection between Ducati's design heritage and modernity.
Expanding Brand Space by Exhibiting Artworks in Ducati Stores Worldwide
The completed artworks will be installed not in general exhibition venues, but in Ducati stores (showrooms) worldwide. This will transform showrooms from mere spaces for displaying vehicles into environments where visitors can experience the brand's philosophy and worldview.
The addition of artworks born from Ducati Centro Stile will bring a new layer to the store environment. Motorcycles, architecture, interior design, graphics, and art will come together to create a unique Ducati experience.
This project is the latest initiative demonstrating how Ducati's pursuit of aesthetics extends beyond the realm of motorcycle products to encompass the entire space. Fans will be able to experience this new brand space at stores around the globe.
