Suzuki will release a partial update to the GSX-8S/GSX-8R, sport bikes equipped with a 775cc parallel-twin engine, on April 15th. A new orange color will be added to the GSX-8R, with a release date of May 26th.

Compliant with Euro 5+, Turn Signals Now LED

The 2026 models of the GSX-8S/8R will feature color changes, with a vibrant orange added to the 8R. The front and rear turn signals have been changed from the conventional bulb type to LEDs.

Furthermore, they comply with the monitoring requirements of the On-Board Diagnostics II (OBD-II) system and meet the Euro 5+ emission standards in Europe. Following the V-Strom 800 series released recently, compatibility with E10 gasoline (10% bioethanol blend) is also a notable feature.

With these changes, the price has increased by 44,000 yen, bringing the GSX-8S to 1,166,000 yen and the GSX-8R to 1,243,000 yen. The main changes are as follows:

- Color changes (8S = 3 colors / 8R = 4 colors)
- Turn signal update
- Compliance with On-Board Diagnostics II (OBD-II) monitoring requirements
- E10 gasoline compatibility
- New color added (8R = Glass Blaze Orange *Release date: May 26th)
