[New Overseas Model] Royal Enfield's EV brand "Flying Flea" introduces the new "C6" model!

On September 16, 2026, Royal Enfield announced the "C6," the first electric motorcycle from its urban electric mobility brand "Flying Flea," in Europe and the UK. It features a design inspired by 1940s models and unique equipment such as a forged aluminum girder fork. The price is set at £5,300 (approx. 1.11 million yen) in the UK and €5,990 (approx. 1.25 million yen) in Europe, with deliveries scheduled to begin in October 2026.

The "C6," the first model from Royal Enfield's newly launched electric mobility brand "Flying Flea," was developed with inspiration from the 1940s model of the same name. It was developed in-house by a team of over 200 engineers in India and the UK, with over 45 patents filed. The chassis features a lightweight forged aluminum frame, and the front suspension is equipped with a forged aluminum girder fork, the only one of its kind currently on the market.

A major feature of the exterior is the battery fin design that fuses tradition and innovation. The front fins are dynamically arranged to symbolize modern technology, while the rear adopts a traditional form. These are finished in a design that smoothly merges in the center as a wing-shaped scoop. Additionally, it features a removable tandem seat and adjustable footpegs, allowing for customization to fit the rider's physique.

The powertrain is equipped with a 3.91kWh lithium-ion battery housed in a magnesium alloy case, featuring an air-cooled ventilation system. It delivers a maximum output of 15.4kW (3500rpm) and a maximum torque of 60Nm, with a range of 104km in WMTC mode and a top speed of 115km/h. The charging system supports fast charging, capable of charging from 20% to 80% in just over 60 minutes, and offers three charging speeds: fast, standard, and trickle.

The control system uses a circular TFT touchscreen equipped with the proprietary "Fleaware OS." Based on Android Automotive OS, it links with a dedicated mobile app to learn rider behavior and supports OTA (Over-The-Air) updates. A rotary mode switch, touted as an industry first, allows for intuitive switching of riding modes, and it also includes cruise control and voice assist functions. Electronic controls such as lean-angle-sensitive ABS and traction control are also included.

The newly announced "Flying Flea C6" will be rolled out in dedicated stores in five cities—Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Berlin, and London—following its initial launch in Bengaluru, India. Royal Enfield CEO B.Govindarajan commented, "Since the launch in Bengaluru, the response to the C6 has been remarkable, with early riders covering over 100,000km in just three months. This track record and our significant investment in R&D have given us the confidence to further expand the brand."

The rollout in Europe will be phased, prioritizing the establishment of a sales and service network. The price is set at £5,300 (approx. 1.11 million yen) in the UK and €5,990 (approx. 1.25 million yen) in Europe, with deliveries scheduled to begin in October 2026. Details regarding a release in Japan have not been disclosed at this time.
