This feature highlights a motorcycle from the Webike Community that has caught our editorial team's attention. This time, we're featuring the HONDA "GB350," owned by "Tooru-san."
GB350 (350cc) Owner: Tooru-san
The GB350, offered by Honda, is a road sport model equipped with an air-cooled single-cylinder engine. Developed with the concept of "The Honda Standard," its simple, timeless design and the ride feel with its distinct vibrations have garnered support from many riders. A key characteristic of this model is its ability to maintain a classic aesthetic reminiscent of older motorcycles while adapting to modern traffic environments.
Tooru-san, featured here, was seeking a riding experience similar to that of older V-twin models and ultimately found the GB350 to be the perfect modern option. He seems particularly drawn to the sound produced by the long-stroke single-cylinder engine and its excellent fuel efficiency. He embraces even its slowness as part of its charm and thoroughly enjoys his time with the bike while pursuing customization.
MY BIKE COMMENT
Motivation for Purchase / Usage / Comparison Models
I actually wanted a bike like the Yamaha SRV250. Nowadays, V-twin engines are only found in American-style cruisers. If there wasn't one, I thought a single-cylinder, preferably long-stroke, would be ideal, and this bike fits the bill perfectly! 😊
Strengths
The sound is amazing! It's even more incredible after installing the full exhaust from SP Tadao!!! It's a fuel economy monster; it can definitely run 600km.
Weaknesses
It's slow, too slow 😅
Advice for Potential Buyers
If you want to enjoy the atmosphere, this is definitely the bike. It's so slow that on hills, you might even need to shift into first gear. The real competition is on the downhill (lol).
Future Customization Plans
Convert it to a single seat, and add a luggage rack at the back. Give the headlight a vintage look.
