Toys Cabin's "Honda Cub Key Chain" was released in March 2025 and became very popular. The "1/64 Kawasaki Z900RS & GPZ900R Ninja Figure Key Ring" was released as the second version of this item that can be enjoyed in two ways: as a key ring and as a figure.
The popular "Z900RS" and the famous "GPZ900R Ninja" are reproduced in 1/64 size!
So-called "Gacha-gacha" is becoming increasingly integrated into Bandai's "Gashapon" lineup, and specialty stores featuring Gashapon machines are opening one after another in major cities. Toys Cabin Co., Ltd. is famous for releasing many items related to cars and motorcycles. Toys Cabin announced the release of the "1/64 Kawasaki Z900RS & GPZ900R Ninja Figure Key Chain" in August 2025, but the planned December release has been postponed a bit and the product will go on sale at the end of January 2026. They are priced at 400 yen each and are available at Gashapon stores and Gashapon corners nationwide. Like the Honda Cub Key Chain, the 1/64-size figure is housed in a case that resembles a package, making this item attractive not only as a key chain, but also as an item that can be enjoyed by removing the figure inside.

The back cover can be removed to reveal the figure housed in a blister. The lid is only held on by claws, so if you want to use it as a keychain, you may want to reinforce it with tape or something.
Each comes in three popular colors
The 1/64 Kawasaki Z900RS & GPZ900R Ninja Figure Key Chains come in three colors for each model. The Z900RS comes in three colors: Candy Tone Brown x Candy Tone Orange (the so-called "fireball"), Candy Tone Blue (the so-called "blue ballworm"), and Metallic Diablo Black. The GPZ900R Ninja comes in three representative Ninja colors: Lime Green x Pearl Alpine White, Firecracker Red x Metallic Graystone, and Ebony x Pearl Cosmic Gray. The 1/64 size is the so-called "Tomica size" and can be enjoyed together with other four-wheeled miniature cars of the same size. As I have mentioned before, I am a collector of 1/64-size miniature cars, and I have all the colors of the 1/64 Honda CIVIC TYPE R, also from Toys Cabin, which was released in December 2025 and sold out immediately. The recent mainstream method of making Gashapon four-wheeled models is to manufacture the windows in one piece of transparent resin and paint the body part. This method allows the windows and lights to be left unpainted, allowing the model to be reproduced in one-piece, transparent molding. The 1/64 Kawasaki Z900RS & GPZ900R Ninja PVC Key Chain is also produced in this way, which reduces the number of parts and prevents parts from coming off, while still allowing the lights and other parts to be reproduced transparently. The 1/64 Kawasaki Z900RS & GPZ900R Ninja Figure Key Chain is similar to the Honda Cub Key Chain in that it is a visually satisfying reproduction of a motorcycle figure that can be overly complex due to its exquisite deformation. As for the "Z900RS," the mirrors are a bit too assertive, but considering the figure's practical strength, this is probably unavoidable.

The Z900RS is a very popular Kawasaki model that continues to be a bestseller among large motorcycles.

Also shown here is the Civic Type R, also from Toys Cabin, side by side with the Civic Type R. It can be used for dioramas.
Aim to complete the collection!
The author follows the Instagrams of Toys Cabin and major Gashapon specialty stores to stay up-to-date on new Gashapon releases. After seeing information on Toys Cabin's Instagram that the "1/64 Kaeasaki Z900RS & GPZ900R Ninja Figure Key Chain" would be installed around January 22, I headed to Yodobashi Camera in Kichijoji on January 25. I found it safely at Yodobashi and exchanged 3,000 yen into 100 yen coins, assuming that I would turn it in at least six times since there are six different types. One happy miscalculation here was that I thought it was 500 yen per spin, but it was 400 yen. Anyway, I settled down in front of the machine and started spinning. One of the nice things about Gashapon these days is that each capsule has a different color for each item inside, and up to the fifth time, capsules of different colors came out, but on the sixth time, a dab of dark blue came out. I was a little lost, but since I had exchanged 3,000 yen, I had seven times to change the capsules, so I turned once more, and this time a black capsule came out.... I checked the coin purse in my wallet and found 200 yen in addition to what I had exchanged. Thinking this was the last time, I turned one more time, and a white capsule appeared. I turned it one more time, thinking it was the last one, and a white capsule appeared. Did I get it all? I went home and checked, and found that I had successfully completed the lineup! I was able to complete the entire lineup in eight attempts. I had been lucky enough to complete the Honda Cub keychain without duplicating any of the other items, but eight times was lucky enough. After that, I visited several Gashapon stores, and it seemed that each store still had enough stock (as of February 2). However, since this is a popular item, there is a high possibility that it will be sold out soon. If you want one, we recommend heading to a Gashapon store or Gashapon section as soon as possible!

The author completed the collection in eight attempts. The capsules of modern gashapon are colored differently for each item inside.

The capsule is opened. Black, red, and navy blue are Z900RS; green, yellow, and white are GPZ900R Ninja.
