Yamaha "Grand Filano Hybrid" Custom Contest Held in Indonesia! 5 Vehicles Won the Grand Prize

PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing has unveiled five custom vehicles that won the grand prize in the "Classy Modifest 2026" custom contest for the 125cc scooter "Grand Filano Hybrid." Thousands of people participated in this event held in five major cities across the country, bringing together custom builds with diverse themes born from the free ideas of young people.

PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM), Yamaha's Indonesian subsidiary, held the "Classy Modifest 2026" custom contest for the 125cc scooter "Grand Filano Hybrid" and announced the five custom models that were selected as the top in each city. This event, held in five major Indonesian cities, saw the participation of thousands of owners and concluded with its finale in Yogyakarta at the end of June.

The five vehicles selected by the judges as "Best of The Best Modification" were evaluated for their complete design concepts, the consistency of custom parts, and high-quality craftsmanship. The "URBAN RALLY" from Makassar featured a red and white two-tone color scheme with a stainless steel muffler. The "ROCK AND ROLL" from Surabaya expressed a rock style with white flame graphics and chrome parts on a black base.

The "DONALD DUCK SPORT" from Bali fused the character's image colors with sporty riding equipment, while the "RACING LOOK" from Central Java adopted Japanese-style graphics such as Daruma dolls and Maneki-neko. The "ROYAL HERITAGE MOONEYES" from Bandung was elegantly finished with black and gold pinstripes.

Features of the "Grand Filano Hybrid" and its Local Deployment

The base model, the "Grand Filano Hybrid," is a 125cc scooter that blends a classical design with modern features. The powertrain combines a 125cc "Blue Core Hybrid" engine with a Smart Motor Generator (SMG) that assists acceleration, achieving an excellent fuel efficiency of 60.1 km/L in WMTC mode measurements. It comes standard with a 27L under-seat trunk, a "Smart Front Refuel" system for front fuel filling, a USB Type-A charging socket, and a meter with a TFT sub-display.
