Kawasaki Motors Japan, Inc. announced that the new TESI H2 TERA adventure model from the Italian luxury handmade motorcycle brand bimota will be available in Japan from July 1, 2026. It is a radical crossover model with innovative design and performance. The price is 6,380,000 yen including tax.

New sensation created by the fusion of the "H2" engine and center hub steer

The TESI H2 TERA combines the 998cc inline four-cylinder supercharged engine from Kawasaki's Z H2 with bimota's iconic TESI "center hub steering system" to create a unique presence and distinctive riding characteristics. The adventure model was first unveiled to the world in the fall of 2023, followed by the actual model in Japan the following year, but this is the first official announcement of its release.

Three years after the debut of the TESI H2 TERA (2026) impact, it is finally being released in Japan. The price is 6,380,000 yen.

The engine onboard has strong torque at low and medium engine speeds, while the supercharger delivers excellent performance at high engine speeds. With maximum output of 200 PS at 11,000 rpm, it offers acceleration performance that breaks the common sense of the crossover class. On the chassis side, the newly developed TERA steering system provides a wide steering angle for a direct and integrated connection between the rider and front wheel, and the anti-dive/anti-lift characteristics unique to the TESI series enable smooth and precise riding. The TESI series' unique anti-dive/anti-lift characteristics allow for a smooth and precise ride.

As bimota is known for manufacturing the best sports machines, the exterior is made of carbon fiber, with specially designed parts such as forged OZ Racing wheels, Akrapovic titanium silencers, and Anritsu dual-purpose tires to reduce weight. The vehicle weighs in at 233 kg equipped, a figure that is unbelievable for a liter adventure.

The Z H2-based 998cc four-cylinder engine is supercharged. Output is 200 PS.

The center hub steering system has been refined by bimota since the "TESI 1D". The system reduces nose dive and pursues comfortable handling.

The control system is fully equipped with Kawasaki's advanced electronic control technology, including Power Mode, KQS (Kawasaki Quick Shifter), Integrated Riding Mode, IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), Electronic Cruise Control, KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Control ), KLCM (Kawasaki Launch Control Mode), KIBS (Kawasaki Intelligent Anti-lock Braking System), KCMF (Kawasaki Cornering Management Function), and other advanced supersport features. The high-power engine, lightweight body, and state-of-the-art electronic controls make for a truly premium riding experience.

The exterior is made of numerous carbon parts to reduce the weight of the bike.

The Akrapovic muffler was developed exclusively for this model. Many other exclusive parts are also used.

Electronic controls are used in the full package, including Kawasaki "KQS", "KTRC", and "KCMF".

The TESI H2 TERA will be available at authorized bimota dealers from July 1, 2026, at a manufacturer's suggested retail price of 6,380,000 yen including tax. The new bimota is the crystallization of the maestro's technology, assembled in Italy, and is a new frontier for bimota.
