Triumph Motorcycles released a 15-second teaser video titled "Save The Date" on its official YouTube channel on October 1st. The video displays the text "FOUR GROUNDBREAKING NEW MODELS" and announces the upcoming launch of four new models by 2027. The announcement is scheduled for noon UK time on October 6th, which is 8 PM Japan time on the same day. The silhouettes include an adventure model, a naked bike reminiscent of the Speed Triple, and a classic model with a round headlight.

"Four Groundbreaking New Models" in a 15-Second Video

Silhouette of an adventure model shown in the teaser video

The video features a production where light crosses the silhouettes of motorcycles in a dark studio, without revealing any model names or specifications. The only text displayed on the screen is "FOUR GROUNDBREAKING NEW MODELS" and "12 NOON 6 OCTOBER". The video description states, "Four groundbreaking models are dropping for 2027."

The special page on the official UK website, linked from the video, also simply states, "A new generation of Triumph motorcycles is about to begin." It does not disclose model names or categories. The phrase "new generation" suggests the possibility of new series or platforms, not just annual updates.

Adventure, Naked, and Classic Models Spotted

From here, we will organize clues about the four models based on what can be discerned from the video. The manufacturer has not disclosed the model names, and the following are solely the editorial department's interpretations.

Adventure Model with a Large Screen

Adventure model with cast wheels

The longest-shown silhouette is an adventure model with a tall screen, upright handlebars, and slim LED daytime running lights. It appears to have cast wheels front and rear, suggesting an on-road oriented setup. The text "FOUR GROUNDBREAKING NEW MODELS" is superimposed on this vehicle.

One Model Equipped with Aluminum Panniers

Later in the video, an adventure model is shown equipped with what appear to be aluminum panniers on the side and engine guards. The wheels look like spokes, suggesting a specification that considers off-road use. It is unclear from the video whether this is a variation of the same series as the previous model or a completely different model.

Naked Model Reminiscent of the Speed Triple

Naked model reminiscent of the Speed Triple

From the beginning to the middle of the video, a naked model without fairings emerges from the darkness. The distinctive headlight with C-shaped LED daytime running lights is reminiscent of the dual headlights of Triumph's flagship naked bike, the "Speed Triple 1200". Immediately after this shot, the headlight is shown as a lingering image, moving horizontally.

Since its debut in 1994, the Speed Triple has represented Triumph's line of streetfighter-style, three-cylinder naked bikes. A new model could be an evolution of the current 1200 series or a new variation added to the series.

Classic Model with Round Headlight and Twin Rear Shocks

Classic model with a round headlight

The highlight of this teaser is the silhouette of a classic model. It features a round headlight, a flat seat, twin rear shocks, spoke wheels, and a low-slung exhaust, all embodying the traditional modern classic style of Triumph.

Text "12 NOON 6 OCTOBER" and a classic model

At the end of the video, along with the text "12 NOON 6 OCTOBER", this classic-style vehicle is shown. A rear three-quarter view reveals the chrome-finished engine area and exhaust, as well as a round taillight. Its placement at the end of the video suggests it may play a significant role among the four new models.

Comparison with the Current Lineup

Current Bonneville T120

Triumph's classic lineup includes a wide range of models, from the 1200cc "Bonneville T120" and "Speed Twin 1200" to 900cc and 400cc class bikes. The teaser's classic model shares proportions similar to the current Bonneville series in terms of its round headlight, flat seat, and twin rear shocks, but there are no clues about its displacement or class.

Speed Triple 1200 RS (2027 Model)

In the naked bike segment, the Speed Triple 1200 RS recently had its 2027 model year announced in Japan with a new color scheme "Jet Black / Maui Blue" at a price of 2,245,000 yen. Given that a "new model" is being teased separately from a model that has just received a color update, if it bears the Speed Triple name, it is likely to appear as a new specification or a derivative model.

Current Tiger 900 Series

In the adventure segment, the "Tiger" series ranges from the 660cc "Tiger Sport 660" to 900cc and 1200cc models. Whether the two teaser models are evolutions of the existing Tiger or models filling new displacement gaps will have to wait for the announcement on October 6th.

Separate from Already Announced 2027 Models

Triumph has already announced an improved version of the motocrosser "TF 250-X" and the limited edition "Speed Twin 1200 TFC" overseas as 2027 models. This teaser, however, is for "four new models" separate from those. In the fall of 2025, Triumph announced numerous new models in a short period for the 2026 model year, and it is possible that a rush of new models will begin again this fall.

Announcement at 8 PM JST on October 6th

The identities of the four models will be revealed at 12 PM UK time on October 6th (8 PM Japan time on the same day). We will have to wait for further information to see what kind of "new generation" will be introduced in the adventure, naked, and classic categories, which form the backbone of Triumph's lineup, including their introduction timing and pricing in Japan.
