In conventional stem hole mounts, rubber material was used for the plug to accommodate a wide range of vehicle diameters. However, this sometimes led to the mount itself rotating due to vibrations during riding or the weight of the smartphone.

The newly released "Fork Stem Wedge Base Metal Type" features an upgraded metal plug. This metal plug expands securely inside the stem hole and can be tightened firmly, significantly reducing rotation and slippage caused by vibrations.
