MORIWAKI's "BLADE" series, which features an edgy look and sound inspired by Japanese swords, includes a lineup for the CBR250RR and Ninja ZX-4R, but it has now been announced that the "Slip-On Exhaust BLADE" for the Z900RS/Cafe will be released this October. Let's check out the details.

The "Slip-On Exhaust BLADE" is the first BLADE exhaust released for the Z900RS/Cafe. In fact, the BLADE series itself debuted this year (2024), so it's still an up-and-coming flagship model. The first exhaust released was for the ZX-25R and ZX-4R, followed by the CBR250RR and CBR400R. The fifth bike to be added to the lineup is the Z900RS/Cafe, making this the first BLADE for a large displacement bike.

Of course, the full titanium specs, which are a main feature of the BLADE series, have been maintained. Despite being a slip-on exhaust, it will give you a 0.3kg weight reduction compared to stock and produces a heavy bass sound in the low-mid RPM range and a clear high sound in the high RPM range. The stock characteristics in the low-mid RPM range are maintained while the performance has been improved mainly in the high RPM range, and the responsive rev contributes to ease of riding in the city and on long tours.

The most notable feature is the sharp design. The edgy form, which resembles a Japanese sword, and the size, which takes into consideration the overall balance, gives the entire bike a sharp impression. The matte body with a low gloss finish also shines austerely, and one cannot help but feel the craftsmanship of the smoked silver. The oval end piece visible from the rear is made in a shape that is instantly recognizable as a "BLADE".
