Webike's Opinion
Here is a "HONDA MONKEY125" custom by Webike community user "Ike". The exhaust system is a YOSHIMURA Straight Cyclone. This short-type pipe has a matte black texture, and the red YOSHIMURA sticker is especially appealing. The handlebar utilizes the stock GROM handlebar, and a TANAX Radio Wave Clock MF-4672 is installed. The TANAX Off-set Holder 45 is also employed to finely adjust the mirror position. This customization is recommended for individuals dissatisfied with mirror visibility. The seat was changed from a Kijima touring-type seat to a G-Craft Custom Seat Flat Tuck Roll. While Kijima's seat was slim and designed for easy knee grip, the G-craft seat is slightly firmer and more comfortable, which is the owner's preference. The BIKERS Flat step, originally designed for GROM, was installed by machining the stand. SUNSTAR front and rear sprockets are incorporated into the drivetrain, along with the EK Chain QX-ring Seal Chain 420SRX. A solid black chain was selected since the custom theme embraces black and yellow. The suspension was replaced from the SP Takegawa Machined Aluminum Rear Shock Absorber to the HYPERPRO Twin Shock T367. SP Takegawa's shocks are flexible, sturdy, and have adjustable lengths, making them suitable not only for the Monkey but also for a diverse range of bikes. The only reason for the owner's shift to HYPERPRO shocks was their appealing design. The footing areas feature the ENDURANCE Extendable Footpeg Bar Set, KITACO Shift Link, KITACO Big Foot Pedal, and G-Craft Shift Guide. The Big Foot Pedal, in particular, stands out as an attention-grabbing element in the suspension, adding a playful touch to the appearance. The combination of the shift link and shift guide fine-tunes the change pedal's position and enhances its operability. This MONKEY125 has undergone numerous customizations beyond the scope of this introduction. With countless parts options, it's easy to see why one would want to personalize it to match their specific preferences.
