This feature highlights a motorcycle that caught our attention from the MY BIKES posted on Webike Community. This time, we're featuring the HONDA "ZOOMER X," owned by "Ganiho-ma."

ZOOMER X (110cc) Owner: Ganiho-ma

Honda's ZOOMER X was introduced as a 110cc scooter that inherited the concept of the once-popular 50cc scooter "ZOOMER," while blending practicality and playfulness as a global model. Its most distinctive feature is its tough and unique appearance, created by its exposed frame design and fat tires. While ensuring the convenience of a scooter, it can be said to be a model that pursues the "joy of ownership" beyond just a means of transportation.

The air-cooled 4-stroke engine it's equipped with excels in fuel efficiency and quietness, delivering sufficient power for daily use. It also features under-seat storage for helmets, demonstrating a design that considers practicality. At the time of its release, its unique styling attracted significant attention as a base for customization.

Ganiho-ma, the owner featured today, owns a 2014 ZOOMER X. Although they received it from a friend, they have fine-tuned the suspension and engine characteristics to their liking, and it appears they even enjoy the "inconveniences" unique to this bike as a hobby. For riders who prioritize individuality, the ZOOMER X remains an attractive option.

Comments from MY BIKE

■ Purchase Motivation, Usage, and Comparison Models

My friend basically forced it on me. I think he got tired of how inconvenient it was (lol).

■ Strengths

It's a derivative of the Dio 110. It's completely different from the 50cc ZOOMER. It accelerates better than the Dio and is faster up to 70 km/h. The tires are unnecessarily wide, 100 in the front and 110 in the rear. I changed them to 90 and 100. It rides smoothly and feels good. Since it's a Honda engine, it starts well, is quiet, fuel-efficient, and good for daily use. The seat height is also low, which is nice. I've ridden it for 10,000 km, and it's been in good condition overall.

■ Weaknesses

It's not a helmet-in type, so I can't carry much. I hang a bag in front of the inner panel to carry my wallet, smartphone, etc. I can fit a helmet in the helmet-in-like space, but small items tend to fall out through the strange gaps, making it extremely inconvenient. Also, since it's a bike with a strong emphasis on personal style, I don't think the combi-brake is necessary. The headlight is like a lantern, only illuminating the center dimly. Even the high beam just shines upwards. With Ph7 30/30, it's too dark.

■ Advice for Potential Buyers

It can't be used as a convenient daily commuter. If you want to use it as an inconvenient, hobby-oriented bike, then maybe it's okay.

■ Future Customization Plans

Upgrade the master cylinder to radial. Install rear suspension with adjustable damping.
