STRIKER's ZEPHYR1100

Kawasaki ZEPHYR1100 Custom by STRIKER WORKS. While maintaining its original impression, various modifications have been made to various parts. As you can see, intake and exhaust on this bike have been replaced to FCR carburetors and STRIKER Titanium. Additionally, the front and rear wheels have been replaced with forged aluminum wheels and adjusted to a 17-inch size through proper setup.

The stock 18-inch front/17-inch rear wheels on the ZEPHYR1100 are replaced with 17-inch front and rear wheels, but the amount of trail due to the smaller diameter front is often compensated by replacing the stem. However, as demonstrated here, adjustments can also be made through setting. It all comes down to understanding the specifications and the use of the bike. In the case of this custom, the setup aims to preserve the ZEPHYR1100's original relaxed riding feel by focusing on lightweighting the wheels and changing the rear shock, among other adjustments. The modifications to the intake and the exhaust system improved response and reduced overall weight, resulting in a lighter and easier-to-handle motorcycle.

Bodyworks

In accordance with the change in front wheel size, adjustments are made to the front fork protrusion and other settings. Handlebar riser and handlebar were also replaced. The front master cylinder is replaced with a NISSIN radial pump. A bikini cowl and YOSHIMURA PRO-GRESS meter are also added to the motorcycle.

With the carburetor replacement, additional storage compartments are added. The space under the seat is also made neater, and even the gaps between the frame and various parts are clean. The side covers are replaced with carbon fiber ones.

Engine

The engine remains in its stock condition, but an ACTIVE Round Core oil cooler is installed along with STRIKER Works sliders. From the picture, you can see that the seams between the cylinder and crankcase, cylinder fins, various covers, and auxiliary components are meticulously cleaned, giving them a pristine, like-new appearance.

Intake & Exhaust

The intake and exhaust system features a combination of an FCR 37mm carburetor, a 3D air filter, and the limited edition STRIKER Titanium.

Chassis

The front and rear wheels are replaced with GALE SPEED TYPE-C wheels in sizes 3.50-17 and 5.50-17 respectively. The front fork remains the stock Φ43mm size, and the brake system, including the TOKIKO 4-piston caliper, remains unchanged. The front fender is replaced with the STRIKER SAD carbon fiber fender.

The swingarm remains stock. NITRON rear shocks are installed, and a COERCE step kit is chosen.
